Unmanaged cables can be a major roadblock for an efficient system, making it difficult to make improvements and avoid hazards as they do so. It is worthwhile to think about the precise measurement of cables needed before any installation plans are implemented. By doing so, one can avoid unnecessarily long cables and the messy issues that can crop up with them. In addition, it is also a wise economic decision to avoid the wastefulness of cables being too long for their intended use. And most importantly, there are environmental benefits to be gained by using the exact right length of cables as it reduces the amount of copper used.
