UK's most secure data centre: A nuclear bunker
Commissioned by the Ministry of Defence in 1949 to monitor Soviet air threats, and sold in the late '90s to be turned into a data centre, the security offered by the bunkers is layered: physical, digital and human. Apart from advanced encryption and an impenetrable compound resembling an Orwellian nightmare, the bunkers also host anti-terror and fire drills.
