Q. What is Storage Virtualization? |
|
A. Storage Virtualization refers to abstraction of logical storage from physical storage, that is pooling of physical storage from multiple network storage devices into what appears to be a single storage device that is managed from a central console. Storage virtualization helps the storage administrator perform the tasks of backup, archiving, and recovery more easily and in less time by disguising the actual complexity of a storage area network. |

Data centers place their server racks in rows with cold air intakes in front and hot air exhausts behind. This results in server racks at the back taking in warmer air. Optimal solution is to implement the hot aisle/cold aisle layout in a way so the cool air intakes and warm air exhausts face each other. |
